Default woodsbuggy hillclimb at stoney

After attending one of the most boring time consuming hillclimbs in my life I just want to say hat's off to sharpshooter and the crew from WILBORNS . There has been and always will be complaining it's a competition and anyone competetive has it in their system . But the complaining on woodsbuggy has always been against Leroy who actually has nothing to do with the hillclimb and how it has been ran but everyone has always complained about Leroy padding his pockets well for those who don't know if 10 or more buggies enter in a class WILBORNS PUT IN EXTRA CASH and we at least got something woodsbuggy on the other hand paid 90 to the winner of the hillclimb saturday .And of all the bitchin that's going on woodsbuggy.com ( the ones who always complained about Leroy padding his pockets ) there is no mention of money wonder why . I would say because the hillclimb at stoney catered to the ky buggies THE HILLS AND THE RULES so as long as they have their way they have nothing to complain about . They also complained about the new hills at WILBORNS The hills at stoney had alot of the same features . So my assumption is the people who worship woodsbuggy.com don't like Leroy and the WILBORNS staff simply because they don't kiss their **s . So in a few short words I myself don't plan on entering anymore hillclimbs but I would love to see David Skyler Chris and the gang keep doing as they have in the past and I myself will support them in anyway possible .I have been on both sides of it and boring hillclimbs are not for me and from what I saw at stoney the only way to get excited from the woodsbuggy hillclimb at stoney was to be in it. Very boring very dissapointing .

Thanks for the comments on our crew,Marty is doing things alittle different, and qualifying everyone takes alot longer than if you have the classes already broke down.We have several people helping Marty so it will run faster and smoother as the series continues. When something is new it just takes alittle time to streamline it,but it will get there

When the climb comes to Wilborns it will be much much better. AND BIGGER! Dave and the normal staff should be on hand running the Wilborns climb and should go alot smoother also with better experience. A ton of spectators also makes it fun. It sucks when everyone at the event is racing or best friend/family of someone racing. The park also has a lot to do with fun. Everyone knows how much the rules impact on fun. Wilborns has no rules! And damn does it make a better time! But I think overall the Wilborns climb is gonna be bigger, better, and a blast! I even heard a rumor that there might be huugggeeee $$$ put up at the Wilborns climb. Hopefully so! Its been done before! Lets dont forget about karoke too. BACKSTREETS BACK!

Not everyone WB complains. I hate you had a bad experience at the Hill Climb. I appreciate your opinion . We learned a lot and will get better with time. I asked for input on Friday and I picked the hills for safety reasons. If you want to help pick the hills and are a competitor then show up Friday for work day and I will consider your input. The Stony event was a complete success. No one got hurt or their equipment destroyed. I have had more compliments than gripes. Fill out suggestion card if you have a suggestion. Please help us promote this sport with your help and positive suggestions.

The main complaint I have is how long it took and I feel sure most agree , my other comments where directed at the folks that continue to trash Leroy and wilborns not you and what you are doing I feel sure it will get better as far as time goes

Are you talking about me spouting and being swivel necked? What is it I said?

Yes,Dirtslanger,it took too long, and I let the interest drop. I should have an announcer. We will learn from your observation and have an announcer in place next time. We also learned from you observation ways to make it go smoother and quicker. I appreciate your input and hope to do better. We had this event at the best location. The Ahill was a little tight but not too tight. It was not built for a certain kind of buggy. Several of the buggys making it up that hill were wide and long and heavy. I had no choice ,,everything else was too dangerous. I will not lose a driver on a death defying hill. or a uphill drag strip. My hills will be steep and have a crook or two. Any body can hit a strait up hill wide open. And we have seen people get hurt bad that way. I learned early on that I cannot satisfy everyone. I will try hard to please most of us with safe, challenging hills. Welcome to Woodsbuggy.com

I want everyone that can to come to work day the Friday before each Woodsbuggy.com hill climb. I need your input on picking the hills. I will try to use your input but safety is priority. We are making history with this series and we need to work together to make it happen. thanks,Marty
